Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with me is a focused, collaborative way of working with your thoughts, emotions, and actions so they feel more manageable and less automatic. In confidential online sessions, we slow things down and examine what runs through your mind in stressful moments, how your body reacts, and what you tend to do next.
We map out specific thinking patterns-such as jumping to the worst-case scenario, harsh self-judgment, or all-or-nothing views-and look at how these patterns influence your mood and behaviour. From there, we practice alternative ways of interpreting situations and experiment with new responses that are more in line with how you would like to handle them.
CBT is structured: we often define clear focus areas, use simple tools such as thought records or trigger logs, and sometimes agree on small between-session exercises to test what you are learning in real life. My aim is to balance insight with practical steps, so that over time you build a more stable set of coping skills.
If this kind of structured CBT approach sounds helpful, you can contact me to arrange a free consultation and see whether working together feels like a good match.
